Farm Credit Welcomes Ditmore to Agribusiness Lending Team

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a lending cooperative that serves Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, announced that Kathrine Ditmore joined the Association’s agribusiness lending team as a relationship manager based at the Harrisonburg branch. Ditmore will focus her efforts on retaining and growing the green industry segment of the agribusiness portfolio.

Originally from Scottsville, Ky., Ditmore now resides in Harrisonburg, Va. Ditmore grew up on her family’s small farm and owned horses. She was an active member of both 4-H and FFA, and she served as a Kentucky FFA State Officer. Ditmore earned a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness and a minor in Organizational Communication from Murray State University. 

Ditmore brings several years of experience within the Farm Credit System to her new role on the FCV team. She previously served as a credit analyst at CoBank and a financial analyst at Farm Credit Mid-America.

Regarding her new position with FCV, Ditmore shared, “I am excited to bring a fresh perspective and willingness to learn to my new role as I work to support our customer-owners. I look forward to learning and developing new skills to become an effective member of the team.” 

Regional sales and lending manager, Dustin Bowman, said, “Kathrine is tremendously talented, and we are fortunate to have her join our agribusiness team, based in the Shenandoah Valley but serving our entire tristate territory. Her knowledge is going to be an asset to her customers as she works with them to find the best fit for their financing needs. The future is bright for Kathrine and the agribusiness team here at FCV!”

In her spare time, Ditmore enjoys reading, traveling to new places, experiencing new restaurants, hiking with her dog, skiing and golfing.
