Farm Credit of the Virginias recently announced that local resident Rebecca Daubert has joined the Harrisonburg, Virginia office as a loan officer. Daubert will report to Adam Shiflett, Regional Sales and Lending Manager for the Shenandoah Valley.
Prior to joining Farm Credit of the Virginias, Daubert operated a dairy with her husband and has also held positions as the Ag Economic Development and Outreach Coordinator for Cornell Cooperative Extension, as a sales and estimating coordinator for a renewable energy company and as a bookkeeper.
“I am excited to bring my experience to help people in our community, especially farmers, be successful with their operations today and for future generations,” Daubert said. “Agriculture is the backbone of the economy, especially in our local area, and I’m thrilled to be working for an organization that focuses on meeting the needs of this critical industry.”
Daubert holds a bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science from Virginia Tech. She was raised on a small Pennsylvania dairy farm, and is an active volunteer with both 4-H and the Virginia Holstein Association.
