Farm Credit of the Virginia today announced that local resident Teresa Lyons has been promoted to Director of Operations, working in the Wytheville office and reporting to Kelly Bohrer, the organization’s Chief Operations Officer.
Lyons has been with Farm Credit for her entire career, recently marking her 40th year with the organization. She previously served as the Wytheville Processing Center Manager.
“I’m looking forward to being able to serve our customers in this expanded role,” Lyons said. “Working with my team to develop improved processes to create efficiencies will benefit our customers as well as Farm Credit of the Virginias.”
Lyons is originally from and still resides in Dublin, Virginia. She was raised on a local beef farm.
