Farm Credit of the Virginias recently announced Laura Kiff as one of their 2018 summer interns. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and growing up in McLean, VA, Laura is excited to be back in the area. She will work in the Leesburg, VA office this summer.
Laura certainly has some experience in Agriculture; she has been an avid horseback riding enthusiast for over 14 years while she also working on horse farms for most of those years. Laura is currently attending the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada where she is pursuing a degree in Management Economics and Finance. She is currently the captain of the University of Guelph Dressage Team, which competes on the Intercollegiate Dressage Association Circuit.
When asked what she is most excited to bring to Farm Credit as an intern, she replied, “I am excited to bring the experience I have gained from working on horse farms and my academic knowledge from the University of Guelph to Farm Credit this summer”.
