Given the current climate of the beef industry, the need to explore alternative strategies for feeding and marketing should be a primary consideration for producers. The Knowledge Center is pleased to offer this event for producers to hear from panelists about current practices and opportunities that they are imploring to diversify their own operations and those of the producers they work with.

Participants will hear from four industry panelists during the program, which include beef producers and industry professionals alike: Jason Wisecarver, Farm Credit Crop Insurance Specialist; Gabe Pent, Shenandoah Valley AREC Superintendent; Jeannie Layton-Dudding, Giles County Animal Science Extension Agent; and Callie Carson, Carson Family Farm.

Each speaker will provide an overview of their operation and share their expertise, followed by questions from participants.
