Campbell Joins Farm Credit as Loan Officer

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV) recently announced that Ellen Campbell has joined the Lexington Branch office as a Loan Officer. She brings with her 20 plus years of banking and lending experience.

Campbell is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at UVA Darden, and is anticipating completing her bachelor’s in Business Administration from Averett University in 2020.

FCV’s culture of passionate rural and agricultural advocacy is what led Campbell to seek the position. She explains, “Supporting the lending needs of Virginia’s rural communities is essential to maintaining economic vitality.” Campbell’s significant experience in the lending industry along with her dedication to rural communities will be an asset to the Association for years to come.

Regarding her new role, Campbell says, “I look forward to continuing to serve customers in Rockbridge County and beyond with their home, land and farm lending needs.” She continues, “I truly believe this is the best place to live in Virginia.  I am eager to help other people experience the satisfaction and beauty of rural country living!”

She is also an active member of her local community, attending New Beginnings Christian Church in Fairfield, Virginia, and is involved in the Chamber of Commerce, and Habitat Special Events Community.

In her free time, Campbell enjoys spending time outdoors and gardening with her husband Ronnie. She also appreciates a good book and traveling when she can.
