Farm Credit Knowledge Center to Host Precision Agriculture Technology Workshop at Reymann Farm
The Farm Credit Knowledge Center will host a free Precision Agriculture Technology Workshop at Reymann Memorial Farm in Wardensville, West Virginia, on November 12, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The 2019 Precision Agriculture Technology Workshop is a free offering from the Farm Credit Knowledge Center in which participants will learn about precision agriculture tools used to enhance beef and dairy management as well as industry best practice relating to these technologies.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit West Virginia University’s Reymann Memorial Farm to hear the latest in technology and sustainability, feed efficiency, agricultural drone use, and pasture systems research. Attendees will hear from Interim and Associate Deans from West Virginia University’s Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design. The workshop will conclude with an agricultural technology-focused panel, in which participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and network. On farm transportation and lunch will be provided.
