Farm Credit of the Virginias Announces Interim CEO
Dear Farm Credit of the Virginias Customer-Owner:
Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a cooperative lending institution serving VA, WV and MD, announced a transition in executive leadership on Tuesday, March 2, 2020. Peery Heldreth is no longer serving as Chief Executive Officer for the association. Tenured Farm Credit System executive, Robert “Bob” Frazee, assumed the role of interim CEO.
Frazee brings over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry and leadership within the Farm Credit System to his acting role. Most recently, Frazee served as President and CEO of MidAtlantic Farm Credit until his retirement in 2016. For the past year, he has served as consultant to the FCV board of Directors, providing valuable insight for the board as they continue to ensure the financial soundness and sustainability of the association.
On behalf of the board, we would like to thank Peery for the efforts he made on behalf of the association during his tenure, and wish him and his family the best.
The board looks forward to partnering with Bob Frazee in the capacity of interim acting CEO. We are confident that his experience and track record of proven leadership within the Farm Credit System will serve him well in working with our leadership team and our employees as we continue to provide our customer-owners the highest degree of service and support. Our board has prioritized a focused executive search process.
Sincerely,
Donna Brooke-Alt
Chairperson of the Board
