Farm Credit of the Virginias' Knowledge Center to Host Annual Dairy Benchmarking Program

The Farm Credit Knowledge Center will host their annual dairy benchmarking program, Dairy Management Institute (DMI), this April. The events will be held in Rocky Mount, Va. with a livestream event in Wytheville, Va. on April 1st, and Dayton, Va. on April 2nd.

Since its inception in 2000, DMI continues to grow to meet the evolving needs of the dairy industry. Participants receive a personalized data analysis that can be used to guide management decisions and pinpoint trends in a dairy operation that can help better plan for the future. Another key aspect of the program is the opportunity to hear from industry experts on relevant industry topics and networking with other producers. This year’s program will focus on technology integration and considerations.

Kyley Clevenger, director of the Farm Credit Knowledge Center, shared, “Farm Credit of the Virginias is pleased to offer the Dairy Management Institute program to dairy producers, which is an annual offering for the Association. This staple program allows for networking opportunities amongst producers, continued growth in education and benchmarking data, plus resources to assist with making informed business decisions around their operations. DMI is a program that we look forward to each and every year.”

The Knowledge Center is excited to offer tailored programming to dairy producers in the area. The program is designed to support all herd sizes. Individuals must register to participate. You do not have to be a Farm Credit customer to participate. To learn more, contact your local Farm Credit office or visit FarmCreditofVirginias.com/Knowledge-Center/Events
