Farm Credit Welcomes Compliance Specialist to Roanoke

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV) recently announced Gary “Joey” McDougall has assumed the position of Compliance Specialist at the Roanoke, Virginia branch. McDougall joins the organization with significant experience in the financial industry and a passion for compliance.

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, McDougall now presently resides in the Roanoke, Virginia area. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and minor in Military Leadership. He has been involved with many different organizations including National Honor Society, German National Honor Society, Key Club, Drama Club, Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets and Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI).

McDougall spent twelve and a half years serving as Branch Manager for Onemain Financial, and has a passion for compliance, life-long learning and being a great team player. He is most excited to use this role to become a subject matter expert, while continuously evolving and growing in his knowledge.

While he jokes that spare time is limited with a four-year old boy and three-month old baby girl, McDougall enjoys reading compliance-related material and spending time in the yard when he can.

Dana Close, Director of Compliance and Loan Operations says, “We are excited to have Joey join the Compliance team with Farm Credit of the Virginias. His financial background will be a valued addition to our organization in his new role.”
