Farm Credit Welcomes Frazier to Lending Team

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV) recently announced that Scott County native, Chris Frazier, has joined the Abingdon office as a loan officer. Frazier joins the team with years of sales and management experience.

Frazier grew up farming tobacco with his grandfather and raising hair sheep with his parents. He currently resides on a small cattle farm with his wife Hilary and ten month old son, Henry Bo.

Frazier received his B.S. in Environmental Science, and his MBA. He previously worked in industrial sales for multiple years. Frazier managed multiple accounts in Southwest VA, TN and Northern AL in the following industry sectors: oil, natural gas, coal, chemical plants, steel mills, pulp/paper mills, etc. During his time in the industry, he held various roles including Branch Manager, Outside Sales, Project Management, and Inside Sales.

Frazier has been an active member of the VA Cattlemen’s Association, Scott County VA Cattle Association, Virginia Oil & Gas Association, Kentucky Oil & Gas Association, as well as multiple chambers of commerce and rotary clubs.

Frazier said, “I have years of sales experience and account management serving a broad range of customers from large corporations to individual contractors. I hope these past experiences and knowledge can make an impact in my new role. I certainly have a lot to learn, and I am looking forward to it.”
