Farm Credit Welcomes Mullins as Business Service Specialist
Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a lending cooperative that serves Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, announced that Jared Mullins has joined the Association as a business service specialist in the Harrisonburg branch.
Originally from Tazewell, Va., Mullins currently resides in Harrisonburg, Va. Though not directly involved in agriculture, he grew up with an appreciation for the industry, surrounded by farms and he worked with local farmers in high school. He was a member of 4-H in his youth. Mullins attended Bridgewater College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. While there, he was a member of the Flory Honors Program, as well as the Bridgewater College Football Team.
Mullins brings a strong background in customer service, having previously worked for a grocery store, and has experience in lending through a previous position with a local bank. Regarding his new role, Mullins shared, “Farm Credit’s mission really resonates with me, and the position just felt right to me after I graduated from college. I have always enjoyed a challenge and I’m eager to grow my skills and make lasting connections in this position!”

In his spare time, Mullins enjoys playing guitar, going to the gym and singing.
