Farm Credit Welcomes Pennington as Marketing Coordinator
Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a lending cooperative that serves Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, announced that Katie Pennington has joined the Association as a marketing coordinator at the Roanoke branch.
Pennington is originally from Roanoke, Va., and holds a bachelor’s degree in visual communication from Liberty University. She has ten years of marketing experience, primarily within the home furnishings industry.
She has been involved with the Junior League of Roanoke Valley for four years, where she has played an active role in the Membership, Engagement and Training committee. Junior League is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting women, developing leaders and investing in the community through volunteerism, collaboration and training.
Reflecting on her new role, Pennington shared, “I’m excited to bring my marketing experience to Farm Credit and work with a team that’s committed to supporting local people, communities and agriculture, and I’m eager to contribute to its continued success.”

I’m confident her experience, creativity and energy will be a tremendous asset, not only to our department, but to the cooperative, as we continue to support our lending team and advance our mission through thoughtful and effective marketing strategies.”
Outside of work, she enjoys baking, reading, oldies music and spending time with her husband and their two goldendoodles, Daisy and Lucy.
