Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a lending cooperative that serves Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, recently announced that previous loan support specialist, Kelli Hopkins, has moved into the role of loan officer and will be serving the Rocky Mount and Chatham branch areas.

Hopkins joined the FCV team as a business service specialist in 2014. In 2023, she was promoted to business relationship specialist, which later transitioned to the loan support specialist role. Hopkins has served customer-owners well during her tenure, and she is looking forward to taking on greater responsibility in her new position. She shared, “I am excited to serve our borrowers in a different capacity by helping to make their dreams of living in our rural communities a reality.”

Shauna Janczuk, Rocky Mount branch manager, shared, “Kelli has been with Farm Credit for 11 years. She has been an integral part of the success of the Rocky Mount branch and has made strong connections with our customer-owners. I look forward to watching Kelli transition into this new role. I know she will make an immediate impact and continue to be a positive presence for our borrowers and within Farm Credit.”

Outside of work, Hopkins enjoys spending time with her family and supporting her children in their many extracurricular activities.
