Tell us about your family. I've been married to my husband, Brad, for 22 wonderful years. We have two amazing kids - Taylor, a first-year student at James Madison University, and Dylan, a sophomore at George Wythe High School.
Tell us about your pets. We have a 7-year-old golden retriever named Henry, who keeps our house full of love, happiness and fur.
Pick your favorite decade. The 80s are by far my favorite decade. The music, fashion, TV, movies, and overall vibe were unmatched, and I feel lucky to have grown up during that era.
What is your favorite movie? I love romantic comedies, and You've Got Mail is my all-time favorite movie.
What is your favorite season? Summer is my favorite season. I love the long days, warm weather, cookouts with family and friends, weekends at Claytor Lake, and trips to Fripp Island.
What is your dream vacation destination? Hawaii has always been my dream vacation destination. I'd love to experience the beautiful scenery, the luaus, and watch people surf the big waves while I lay on a sandy beach.
Have you ever collected anything? I collect coffee mugs from different seasons, destinations, and ones that are simply pretty or have funny sayings. I have so many, I'm about to run out of room in my cabinets!
What was your dream job as a child? As a child, I wanted to be a veterinarian or a zookeeper because I've always loved animals, and the thought of working with them every day made me happy.
Describe an accomplishment in your time with FCV that you are really proud of. My proudest accomplishment at Farm Credit was receiving the 2024 President's Circle EPIC Award for Integrity.
What are your favorite weekend activities? My favorite weekend activities revolve around spending time with my family, relaxing and having fun. Whether it's shopping, grabbing coffee, cooking new recipes, or binge-watching a new TV show, I enjoy making the most of our time together.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why? If I could have any superpower, I'd want the power of teleportation so I could travel anywhere instantly, skipping the long, stressful hours in the car or on an airplane.
What's your favorite food? My favorite type of food is Mexican. I love the spiciness and fresh ingredients. Give me some street tacos and guacamole with chips, and I'm happy!
