Briefly describe your involvement in agriculture. I grew up on my grandparent's farm in Rapidan, VA. Being around farm animals and having endless space to roam as a child was part of what shaped who I am. I no longer live on the farm, but I do keep a garden.

What's your favorite family recipe? My Nanny's potato salad. She never writes it down - it's a taste test type of thing and I used to sit in her kitchen as a child and taste test as she made it until it was "just right"... and occasionally embellish that it wasn't ready so I could have another bite.
What is your favorite childhood memory? During the summer, my siblings and our friends would all play down at the creek together. You had to walk across a log to get to the best sand bank. Sometimes my friends and I would relax and read. Sometimes we would have mudball fights. No matter what we were doing down there it was one of the best places to be as a kid.
What is your favorite book or author? I read too much to pick a favorite, but I have never re-read a book. Last year I read the Fourth Wing series, and I think it's safe to say that is a book series I would absolutely re-read.
What is your favorite app and why? Tik Tok... I learn SO much on Tik Tok. Gardening hacks, canning, baking, sewing templates, book recommendations, even parenting advice - it really is a great app.
What is your favorite season? All of my favorite things happen in Autumn, so naturally it is my favorite season. Pumpkin spice everything, cozy colors, leaves falling, cooler weather, Halloween movies, Culpeper Air Fest, trips to the pumpkin patch and my birthday... I can keep going if you need more persuasion.

Tell us about your hobbies. I love to read and bake when I make the time to, and I piddle in the garden in the evenings.

What is a recommendation you'd make to a tourist traveling to your current town? If you like authentic tacos - go to La Chiapaneca. SOOOOOO good!!!
What was your dream job as a child? My dream job as a child was to be school librarian... or a princess.
What is your favorite thing about Farm Credit? My favorite thing about Farm Credit is how supportive everyone is of each other. It is truly a great feeling.
What would you sing at Karaoke night? Goodbye Earl by The Chicks... because it's entertaining, and I already know all the words.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why? Mind reading would save me a lot of time... haha!
What is your dream vacation destination? If I could travel anywhere in the US, I would love to spend time on the Oregon Coast. If I could travel anywhere internationally, I would like to visit the Scottish Highlands.
