Job Title: Loan Officer

Briefly describe your involvement in FFA. My daughter showed lambs this year through MAS in Augusta County and really enjoyed the experience gaining responsibility and leadership. It is great for kids to learn how to not only work with animals daily but also to go talk to businesses and sell their project.
Briefly describe your involvement in agriculture. I have a small cow/calf operation at home that I enjoy in my free time. I am also proud that I get to partner with farmers in the community to keep farming alive and healthy in our area.
Are you involved in any other clubs or organizations? I am a board member with Virginia Poultry Federation where we work to promote the industry at the state and local level.
What is the best piece of advice you received growing up? I had a sports coach in high school tell us that adversity builds character. This relates well to farming in my opinion because it is some of the hardest work you can do and farmers are some of the highest quality people to do business with!
