Farm Credit Welcomes Rutler as Information Technology Intern
Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a lending cooperative that serves Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, announced that Daniel Rutler has joined the Association as an information technology intern. He is based at the Verona Operations Center, though he will spend time visiting branches and customer-owners throughout the footprint, as well as shadowing other departments.
Originally from South Riding, Va., Rutler currently resides in Harrisonburg, Va. attending James Madison University (JMU). He is a rising senior, majoring in Computer Information Systems and minoring in Economics. At JMU, he is a member of the Association for Information Systems and the Skate Club.
Rutler is excited to bring his experience in information systems, business analytics and economics from his undergraduate studies, in addition to his background in team building and project management from his previous work experiences to this internship. Rutler shared, “I am looking forward to learning about how Farm Credit uses information technology in its business operations and how this benefits the company as well as its agribusiness and rural clients.”

In his spare time, Rutler enjoys skateboarding, hiking and playing guitar.
