Senior Associate Accountant Retires After 27-Year Tenure at Farm Credit

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a regional lending cooperative that serves Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, announced that Paige Losh, a senior associate accountant in the Association’s headquarters location in Staunton, Va., will retire September 1, 2026, after a 27-year tenure.

Losh is an Augusta County, Va. native and currently resides in Churchville. She began working in the finance department at Farm Credit in 1999. Losh’s work in the finance department has been primarily focused on accounts payable, though she has also worked in branch accounting and in more recent years, she has also done credit verifications.

Reflecting on her time, Losh said, “I am proud of the work I’ve done to support the Association, including paying the bills for 24 branches, as well as paying director and employee expenses.” When asked what she’d miss the most at Farm Credit, she said, “I will definitely miss the people most. One of my favorite parts of working at Farm Credit have been the people I’ve had the opportunity to work with over the years.”

Scott Howerton, controller, shared, “Paige will be deeply missed by everyone in the finance department at FCV. Throughout her nearly three decades with the Association, she consistently demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, a willingness to help others and a positive attitude every day. Her integrity, dedication and commitment to excellence played a significant role in the Association’s success. We are grateful for her many contributions and wish Paige all the best as she begins this well-deserved retirement.”

Upon retirement, Losh plans to enjoy more time outdoors, spend time with family and her golden lab, Trapper. She also plans to spend more time cooking and looking for new recipe ideas.
